Southern Italy Sanctuary: Ashtanga, Jivamukti & Rocket Yoga Retreat
with Nicole & Alice

Saturday 3rd - Friday 9th May 2025

Join Nicole & Alice for 7 days in the beautiful Italian countryside of the Valle d’ltria in Apulia, Italy. The boutique retreat centre is set in 2.5 acres of grounds in a valley filled with olive and almond groves.

The owner’s intention was to create an intimate space in tune with the natural rhythm of nature where guests can escape from the demands of the modern world to deepen their practice in the beautiful, peaceful setting of Southern Italy.

The bedrooms have been renovated to a high standard using locally sourced materials to create a luxurious yet simple and understated feel.

A large outdoor courtyard provides the main communal eating space, and several outdoor terraces offer a place to relax in the sun or the shade.

Situated at the heart of the complex, the swimming pool acts like a colourful meeting point – with the blue water combining with the green olive trees and the red soil.

Food plays a central role in both our yoga practice and life. We believe food should be varied, unprocessed and nourishing to promote energy and wellbeing. The food served on the retreat is local, seasonal plant based.

We are very fortunate to have two amazing chefs who bring their passion and love for healthy, tasty food.

All the produce they source and grow is local, seasonal and organic wherever possible.

Who are Nicole & Alice?

Nicole started practising yoga in 2006 whilst practising for her dance competitions at 15.

It wasn’t until after graduating from University that her practised grew from just a stretching, physical form into a more spiritual practice going deeper into the asana’s, meditation and mantra.

In 2015 she travelled to India where she did her first 200hr teacher training at Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, India.

Nicole has since trained in Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Sound Therapy, Thai Massage & Reformer Pilates bringing Yin & Yang elements to her classes.

It’s all about balance; flowing and moving energy around the body (Yang) to moving into stillness, connecting to the stillness and the breath – being present (Yin).

Nicole can help to soothe your mind, body and soul through healing yoga, meditation, breathing and sound healing practices she has learnt along her travels in India & Thailand.

Bringing the East to the West, because we all need a bit more woo-sah.

Her future dream is to live and breathe yoga retreats, by creating her own yoga retreat space for students and fellow teachers alike to create retreat magic from.

Alice started practising yoga in 2009, initially for the physical benefits, but soon felt how yoga was beginning to transform other aspects of her life; bringing grounding, vitality and more ease.

Since completing her first teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa in 2017 she has trained in Yin Yoga, Reformer Pilates, Pranayama and Meditation and has been teaching in London studios for the past 6 years and now teaches in Nottingham and Loughborough.

Alice teaches with an emphasis brought to the breath, allowing it to guide you through the whole sequence. She encourages students to move intuitively, cultivating care and awareness so they can develop an expressive, fluid and fun practice.

Music and sound play a big part in her practise and teaching, she enjoys the feeling of strength and empowerment that Yang styles of Yoga offer and has also found deep appreciation and love for Meditation and Yin – feeling the cooling of the mind, the release that stillness can bring and the spaciousness found beyond the physical shapes.

Alice embraces that Yoga is a simple way to generate more physical and mental space that can allow clarity, openness and a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us.

See you in May 2025!

We’re so excited already,

Love, Nicole & Alice x
